Sienna X Signature tan. Develops for a minimum of 8 hours.

Follow these ‘golden rules’ to ensure your tan looks smooth & gorgeous, lasting between 5-7 days.

SPRAY TAN PREPARATION

Exfoliate thoroughly & moisturise the day before your tan is to be applied, NOT on the same day. This will remove the dead skin cells & provide a new, smooth surface for your tan. This helps to promote an even coverage & lengthens the duration of the tan. Pay particular attention to elbows, knees & ankles.

Remove unwanted hair the night before your tan application, NOT on the same day as this will allow the hair follicles to close & therefore prevents a spotty appearance.

Avoid using moisturiser & perfume immediately prior to your tan as these can act as a barrier.

Wear loose, dark clothing & flip-flops. The solution washes out of most clothing very easily, but may stain nylon & lycra materials. Tight fitting clothing will cause the tan to rub off during the developing stage.

THE TAN

When you are ready, it is time to step into the tanning tent (disposable underwear can be provided).

Within 15 minutes, you will be subtly transformed into a bronzed goddess, leaving you looking healthy & naturally tanned!

You will be ready to pop your clothes back on... or your dressing gown - just one of the fab benefits of an ‘at home’ tanning experience!

Post Tan Aftercare
  • Moisturise daily to extend the life of your tan & keep it looking it’s best.
  • Do not do excessive exercise, perspire or get wet immediately afterwards as this will affect the finished result.
  • Long, hot baths & swimming can fade your tan.
  • Pat skin dry after showering.
  • Don’t sit on light coloured fabrics until you have showered or bathed as the colour guide may cause discoloration.
  • It is not a good idea to put your bra back on if you have had a topless tan as this will cause wear marks.
  • Some soaps & moisturisers can reduce the life of your tan.

Please note, when you take your first bath or shower after your spray tan, you will probably see some colour wash off. Don’t worry. This is normal & is the tan colour guide that the spray tan Technician uses when the tan is applied. You will be left with a gorgeous tan!

A spray tan is not recommended in the first trimester of pregnancy, or breast feeding, allergies to self tan or anyone who has breathing difficulties.

A full consultation will be given prior to your tan & we will establish which tan is best suited to your skin type & colour.

Brides

Pamper & Polish always recommends that you have a trial run, to ensure your colour will look as natural as possible on your wedding day, especially if this is your first Sienna X tan.

I would recommend that a Bride chooses a ‘glow’ rather than a dark colour, especially if you are wearing white & would suggest that you have your tan 2 days before the big day. This is when the tan is likely to at its best & you are most comfortable with it.
